Online Course Rules

Online courses are conducted using the Zoom Workplace video conferencing service

Please ensure, prior to the day of your course, that you have access to the Zoom website on your internet browser or Zoom app installed on your device, and that your internet connection and device processing power is sufficient to enable the browser page or app to function correctly.

For more details about Zoom and setting up your device to attend an online course click below

Setting up Zoom

Your device MUST have a fully functioning camera, microphone and speakers

You MUST position your camera in such a way so that you (at the very least head and shoulders) are visible throughout the training day, at all times whilst the course is active.

Experience has taught us that trying to have more than two online course delegates on the same computer really just doesn't work

A maximum of two delegates on any one computer, seated in such a way that they are both visible on screen at all times.

Maximum of one delegate per tablet or mobile phone.

In addition, the following DVSA rules also apply when attending an online driver CPC course

Course delegates are expected to participate fully in the session, interacting with both the trainer and other delegates

Delegates must not have work colleagues, family members, television, radio, etc. distracting them from the course

Delegates must stay awake

Delegates must be fully dressed and sat upright

No alcohol to be consumed during the course

No offensive language will be tolerated

Telephone calls must not be made or received whilst the course is active

Delegates must not be driving or travelling during the course

Inability to join and / or remain connected to an online course due to incompatibility or failure of device hardware, device software, or internet connection, not attributable to Privé Limited, will result in a delegate being removed from a course

No refund or credit will be given
